Train Thyself or Die

In Uncategorized on November 17, 2008 at 1:32 am

I haven’t been here since July 29, 2009. I also write for my other blog, http://blog.CompetitiveResumes.net. Everyone is focused on jobs, as it effects our economy so it takes up quite of bit of my time.

I’ll be adding articles soon so stay tuned. It will be some really good stuff. However, I’ll be posting occasionally due to the needs of my other business.

I will be looking to train folks, so feel fee to e-mail me if you have training needs or questions.

You can also send me an e-mail at trainthyself@gmail.com. I also appreciate the positive or negative feedback on my posts or website as well. I like comments. I really like lots of comments, so add them here too.

My main website, www.trainthyself.com, has the listing on my prices. I don’t charge much and I’m looking to help those who are ready to get down to it.

By The Way,the art, particularly Muscle Mouse  was done by Roque Basallote. You can find him at  http://roquescorner.com.

Thanks,Roque!

  8. This article suggests food that will help with your metabolism.

Is it just me or are men the hardest to convince that they should hire a trainer when they find hard to lose additional weight? For the men who are looking to increase muscle and decrease fat, not always in that order, here are some quick hits to implement if you’re not doing this:

  1. Don’t go vegan for the sake of losing weight. It shows you have no clue in what you’re trying to do, besides, that is our girlfriends and wives jobs. It may even offend people who do it for religious or moral reasons.
  2. Stop doing the same workout that you’ve been doing for 10 years. If you keep singing the same song to me for even 1 year, I would not only become accustomed to it, I’d probably get sleepy. Believe me that’s what your body is doing,
  3. Be the heavy. Heavy weights + total body workouts + a lower calorie diet=more strength/more muscle/fat loss.
  4. Don’t you touch those fat burners!
